Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. He joined Caroline in 1977, touring the country with the Caroline Roadshow for 10 years, having great fun. Barry helped with tender trips and worked on the Ross Revenge in '84 and '85. ...

A third (and thankfully) final trip into the bits of the Fall's catalogue that didn't quite make it. We dig into mislaid covers such as Grooving with Mr Bloe, Jack the Ripper, Louie Louie and Drop out Boogie, early "gems" like Race Hatred, Stepping Out, Sten Gun Rock and You Don't Turn Me On.. and the endless bonus tracks from the Reformation 50xCD reissue. Suffice to say, though there were maimings , name calling and tears, we all came out of it a little older, a little less wise and hankering for the days when "Age of Chang" was the worst it got.
