2.The Dodgers are giving Justin Wrobleski a spot start. He’s one of my fast-rising prospects (ranked in the 90s in the July Top 400 list). I’ll break him down.
3.The Diamondbacks will call-up Wilber Diaz to pitch on Sunday. He’s been a pop-up kid this season. I will review him.
4.Pablo Lopez – Sigh
5.Clay Holmes blew another save on Friday in a big way (2 home runs) and hasn’t pitched well of late. If you are fearing a closer change, who would you speculate on?
6.Ben Rice hit three home runs on Saturday in the Red Sox showdown.
a.Gerrit Cole – wasn’t great. He got killed by soft fly balls and infield hits. Any worry?
7.Brooks Lee with his first home run. It wasn’t a big blast, only 99.5 MPH off the bat.
8.Jose Miranda went 12 for 12 before making an out. WOW!
