Fitz on Fantasy returns after a two-week hiatus. Host Pat Fitzmaurice (@Fitz_FF) opens the show by discussing Damar Hamlin’s medical emergency and how the cancellation of Bengals-Bills affected fantasy leagues. Then, Fitz welcomes in his colleague Andrew Erickson (@AndrewErickson) of FantasyPros. Fitz and Erickson discuss a couple of playoff teams: the Jaguars and the 49ers. Is Travis Etienne a worthy target for fantasy drafters in 2023, and how will Calvin Ridley fit into the Jacksonville offense? Who’ll quarterback the 49ers in 2023 -- Trey Lance or Brock Purdy -- and should we worry about the 49ers having so much skill-position talent and only one football to go around?

A Courtland Sutton enthusiast in August, Erickson reflects on where things went wrong for Sutton in 2022 and assesses the value of Sutton’s teammate Jerry Jeudy. Erickson and Fitz talk about pineapple on pizza, Food Network programming, Erickson’s non-football sports loyalties, and his wedding plans. There’s some Patriots chatter, with Erickson and Fitz taking a closer look at Mac Jones, Rhamondre Stevenson, and Tyquan Thornton. Erickson and Fitz also look at some of the compelling storylines for the incoming rookie class and discuss Christian Watson, Dalvin Cook, Tyler Allgeier, and more.
