How To Do A Cheap, Cheap Layover in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

One of the best layovers for value in Asia, Kuala Lumpur offers fantastic and amazing food value, good inexpensive accommodations, and cheap transportation to and from it's international airport terminals. I challenged myself on this layover to come up with a total cost of less than $30 that would cover transportation including within the city. Dinner, and light breakfast and a little sightseeing. Staying at KL Sentral is one of the most convenient spots in the city to get quickly to and from the KLIA terminal 1, about an hour each way, and to some of the major tourist attractions. I found an inexpensive hotel room with a queen size bed, private bath, t.v., free wifi on agoda.com at KL Sentral. Since it's close to Little India, a spot loaded with character and inexpensive dining options it was a quick and easy choice for dinner, within walking distance. That also made it easy to catch the LRT to KLCC to do a little sightseeing around the Petronas Twin Towers after. For a light breakfast before I caught the bus back to KLIA I stopped at an inexpensive restoran for some toast, roti canai, and coffee. The total cost of the layover was $23!!! You could even do it cheaper with a dorm bed for $7 but sorry, I'm not that cheap!!! Thanks again for watching the video and subscribing to the channel.
