Kari Lake sat down for an interview on Arizona's PBS channel a few days ago, and it didn't go well for her. She attacked the host for daring to fact check her and suggested that he should go get a job working for Kamala Harris. But Lake had no coherent response when asked about the economic recovery that the country is experiencing, and instead tried to say that things are somehow worse than ever, in spite of the evidence to the contrary.
Also, Democrats in the House of Representatives are worried that Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson's recent non-commitment to certifying the results of the 2024 election could be his attempt to lay the groundwork for chaos on January 6th of next year. Johnson says that they will absolutely certify the results IF the results are true and accurate and fair. That's a big caveat for doing his job, as Farron explains.
And during a recent campaign stop in North Carolina, a Vietnam Veteran in the crowd gave Donald Trump an envelope containing something that the man wanted Trump to have. At first, Trump was excited because he thought it was cash (seriously), but then Anna Paulina Luna informed Trump that the man had given him his Purple Heart that the man received for being injured in service. This came just days after Trump trashed wounded veterans by downplaying the brain trauma they suffered while he was president.
Finally, Donald Trump is so angry that Vice President Kamala Harris has linked him to Project 2025 that he claims he has sent her a "cease and desist" letter threatening legal action if she doesn't stop. Not only does Trump not have a case because they are both politicians running for office, but he also has no grounds because everything Harris has said is true - and there is video evidence to back it up!
