It doesn't take a lot of common sense or courage to say that a tragedy is bad and shouldn't happen, but apparently J.D. Vance isn't smart enough to figure that out. After saying that America just has to deal with tragedies at schools as a "fact of life," the public turned their anger towards him and the Trump campaign is now scrambling to clean up yet another mess from their moronic VP nominee.
Also, a moderate Republican lawmaker in the US House of Representatives, Tony Gonzalez, said recently that he believes his party is going to lose the House in this year's election. Gonzalez himself only won his last election by a few hundred votes, and he now thinks that this might not even be possible this year. If the public were voting based on accomplishments, Republicans would stand no chance at all of retaining the House.
And Donald Trump put his bigotry on full display during a recent talk with a Moms for Liberty group by claiming that migrant children are somehow "poisoning" our schools because they aren't speaking English. This is an incredibly racist thing to say, and it is also completely false. Trump - and most of Moms for Liberty - have absolutely no idea what happens inside of classrooms across this country or how schools even work, but they are the ones complaining the loudest about things that aren't even happening.
Finally, Donald Trump's mental problems become more and more obvious and clearly far worse every time he gets in front of a camera, yet the media still has not figured out how to properly cover them. They mostly talk about him "rambling" or "jumbling words" and just move on, but when it was President Biden doing the same thing, we got months of reports about how The White House might be covering up a serious mental problem. The same coverage should be devoted to Trump's mental decline before it is too late.
