In this episode, I will receive Isabella CARAZZA, Women Buyer at Galeries Lafayette in Paris France.

I wanted to have her in this first season, because Isabella’s journey is the perfect illustration that there is not ONE UNIQUE way to arrive to your professional objective. Isabela comes from Brasil, didn’t have any previous contact nor studied in a business school. And still she managed to land one of the most coveted job in the industry: Woman Buyer in a Parisian department store.

Isabella and I met few years ago while working together at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche. One of the most iconic Department stores in the world. At that time I was the Menswear Fashion Editor and she was a Junior Buyer.

From day 1, what stood out from her, was her sheer curiosity and passion to learn everything about the fashion industry. This is why I was not surprise when she told me she was also doing a PhD.

All along this episode you will discover how to think like a buyer and what are the key elements you need to focus on. You will also learn how to use your passion and curiosity to fuel your career strategy, while leveraging your skills at every step of your journey.

Please enjoy this wide ranging conversation with Isabella CARAZZA
