This is the second of a five-part journey of exploration into what Christians believe as laid out so well by C.S. Lewis in a portion of his book, Mere Christianity. Together, these five segments walk us along a footpath of unerring logic, each segment building on the previous and culminating in what Lewis referred to as The Practical Conclusion.

Anyone familiar with Lewis’ writings cannot help but appreciate how well he makes his arguments through the use of easily grasped illustrations that intrigue and add weight to his position. Though these illustrations come from a time in England quite past and some can seem rather outdated to modern ears, the disadvantage is slight and hardly detracts from their impact.

What you are about to hear now in The Invasion picks up where Episode 1 left off. If we are keen of mind and open of heart, I believe these writings will go a very long way in clearing the fog of ignorance and misunderstanding that can so easily languish about our heart.
