Growing up biracial I have always felt I didn't have a loud enough voice to talk about racial issues within both of my cultural backgrounds. I was deemed either not "Hispanic" or "Black" enough or too "White." Over the last few weeks, I felt those feelings of uncertainty and anxiety over my own racial background once again. Was I "Black" enough to speak up to my peers who were White? Did my voice belong or was I just echoing non-sense? Yet I do proudly state I am biracial and know inequality and prejudice occur in all Non-White communities. And in order for humans to start having humility, it takes all voices, even the biracial ones. So here is a segment I titled "Yours Truly." and remember to stay informative and donate to organizations that stand up to Police Brutality and the inequality members of our Black community have endured for hundreds of years.
