It's so easy to slip into a performance mindset where our team members become little more than a means to an end. Keeping a "treasures, not tools" perspective on those we lead can prove challenging. But wrestling through that challenge toward an attitude of humility as we serve others can result in some of the most impactful opportunities to represent Christ well.
On this episode, podcast host, Ken Powell serves up content from Mike Blackaby as he provides a biblical perspective on leading our companies well. Mike Blackaby is a church planter on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and pastor of Canvas Church Oak Bay. He received his PhD from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He and his brother have co-authored several books for teens/young adults. He enjoys playing the drums, working in his garden, and reading nerdy fantasy novels. Mike and his wife Sarah have 4 young children.
