Chris talks with author Alejandro Danois about the inspiring true story of a high school basketball team that overcame desperate circumstances in 1980's Baltimore to produce four NBA players and give hope to a neighborhood and a city, thanks to a remarkable coach who relentlessly pursued perfection. Chris also speaks to a father and son mentoring team Ricardo and Joel Gamble. Ricardo Gamble, coach of Coppin Academy and founder of Beyond the Rim mentoring program, saw the likes of Carmelo Anthony and other greats excel in his program. Joel Gamble, a former tight end in the NFL, now mentors children and has also partnered with the NFL for the only youth flag football league in Baltimore, Maryland.
