For more than a decade, the Department of Homeland Security ranked dead last in the Partnership for Public Service’s Best Places to Work in the Federal government rankings. But this year D-H-S jumped up in the rankings, for 2023, it had the “most improved” engagement and satisfaction score of all large agencies. Federal News Network’s Justin Doubleday has been following DHS efforts to improve employee morale and he joined the Federal Drive earlier to discuss.
