The way a song makes you feel is largely influenced by the adventure you had in discovering it or rather, in it discovering you. For some, the adventure looked like landing on a radio dial at the perfect time. For Los Angeles-based Salvadoran Poet, Yesika Salgado, with this particular song, it looked like witnessing a song create a safe space for her father to cry. It looked like realizing how music speaks to the purity of the heart.
