I 2018 vant den polske psykologen og forfatteren Olga Tockarzcuk, nobelprisen i litteratur. Hun debuterte i 1979, under pseudonymet Natasza Borodin, med en novellesamling. Etterhvert har hun blitt en av Polens mest anerkjente forfattere og har i tillegg til Nobelprisen også vunnet den internasjonale Man Booker prisen for boka Løperne. I fjor kom novellesamlingen Bisarre fortellinger på norsk, som er oversatt av Julia Wiedlocha. I denne episoden forteller Wiedlocha om sitt arbeid med boka, men også om Tockarzuks forfatterskap i sin helhet.
