Episode 3: Grace AFTER Salvation

Grace is often understood as the unmerited favor of God, the divine gift freely given to humanity, allowing us to find salvation and a renewed connection with the divine.
However, the beauty of grace doesn't conclude at the point of salvation. Instead, it extends its reach into every facet of our lives, guiding, comforting, and empowering us through the journey of faith. As we explore the concept of Grace AFTER Salvation, we uncover the profound nature of God's unwavering love and favor towards us.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) guides us with timeless wisdom: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
Even after embracing salvation, we're urged to trust God completely, acknowledging His guidance in every aspect of our lives. His grace doesn't merely rescue us; it leads us forward, offering direction and purpose.

The apostle Paul's testimony in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) reveals the profound depth of God's grace: "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness."
Post-salvation, in our moments of inadequacy or weakness, God's grace remains abundant. It's not our own strength that sustains us but the enduring grace of God that empowers us to endure and thrive.

Salvation's Foundation and Works: Ephesians 2:8-10:

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) elucidates the foundation of salvation: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
However, Ephesians 2:10 (KJV) reminds us that while salvation isn't earned through works, it propels us into a life of purposeful deeds: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
Post-salvation, our actions are a testament to the grace we've received, reflecting God's transformative power in our lives.

Romans 8:28 (KJV) reassures believers in their journey: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
The promise of this verse extends far beyond the moment of salvation. It assures us that even amidst trials, God's grace orchestrates circumstances for our ultimate good, illustrating His continual care and provision.

John 1:1 (KJV) establishes the eternal nature of the Word: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." And in John 1:14 (KJV), we witness the embodiment of grace: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
The grace extended post-salvation finds its embodiment in Jesus Christ, who personifies God's unending favor towards humanity.

God's grace, as demonstrated through the verses in Proverbs, Corinthians, Ephesians, Romans, and John, transcends time and circumstance, guiding, strengthening, and transforming us daily.
Embracing grace after salvation means continually leaning on God's unchanging love and provision, allowing it to shape our lives, actions, and relationships.
As we navigate our journey in Christ, let us embrace the beauty of grace that extends far beyond our initial encounter with salvation.

Remember, in Christ, grace is not a one-time gift; it's an endless, life-transforming journey.
