How are injuries effecting your performance? On Episode #4 we talk to Matt Wall about injury prevention in fight sports and factors we can change to lower risk of injury in training and competition. Most people would tell you injuries are just part of the sport, and "They just happen". Well, there are things you can do that will help you lower risk of injury. I personally believe strength and conditioning is first and foremost a tool to keep you on the mat and performing at your best. I hope you can take something from this conversation to keep in injury free and training and competing at your best. We will cover: - Managing training load. - Using training methods fit for purpose. - Screening movement competency. - Progression of exercise. - Movement Selection for fighters.
