I’m JonisBrasko, and this is the Fighting Game Banter Podcast. Here we dive into the world of fighting games and talk about the development and growth of fighting games and FGC. It’s only fitting we start with The Game Awards.
The Game Awards classify Best Fighting as: For the best game designed primarily around head-to-head combat. That means it’s the best fighting game voted by players, and supported by actual data, right?
This episode is about Fighting games at The Game Awards held on December 7th, 2023. Who got snubbed? With SFVI and MK1 leading the pack, do any of the other nominees stand a chance? And will the 2024 TGA’s be a repeat of 2022? Plus, should we expect to see any new fighting games or character trailers?
