Catching all the action on camera in an esports tournament game is a true skill, and that's why we have dedicated observers and in-game directors that are a staple part of every esports stream. Ansvar started his observing career two years ago, and eventually worked his way up to working for the biggest tournament organizers in PUBG and Apex Legends. It's not all roses in esports observing, so we discuss observing as a long-term career choice.

This video episode is available on YouTube!

Topics covered: What is ingame observing, Getting into PUBG, First observing opportunity, Background of LAN events, Working in a team, What does an in-game director do, Timeline of a LAN tournament, Skills required from an observer, Apex Legends observing, Making a living as an observer, What bad observers can cause, Esports observing as a fulltime job, etc.
