The Bible states in Hebrews 4:14 that "Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. NKJV
Jesus has been there… dealt with temptation of all kinds.
What kind of help is Jesus offering? The help that people with weaknesses and temptations need. Jesus is available to help us when we are tempted.
In this series, we will cover:
1. Whom we are to serve. Satan will tempt us to sin or to serve him and / or our flesh. We must understand his tactics
2. What is Sin. Satan desires us to believe there is no devil; hence we wont resist him. Satan desires us to believe in our “Own truth." It is truth or it is not!
