How some people believe that their net worth is the accumulation of their assets alone but that is not how you calculate it. It is the sum of your assets minus the sum of all of your liabilities. I share how I am very conservative in my calculation of my net worth and deliberately choose not to add certain asserts and why. My NW was $680,500.00 just yesterday but $680,900.00 today as a result of an additional $400 transfer that I made into my investment portfolio literally today - my goal is to reach .
