rain smallerWhen I left work today, I could hear the rain coming. Yes, that is what I said. I could HEAR the rain coming.
It was only sprinkling when I left the office to go to my car, but sheets of rain were headed my way. I could hear it coming closer as it came across the parking lot. Just as I got into the car, the rain reached me and came pouring down. And then, as if that wasn’t weird enough, as soon as I drove out on to the main road, the rain stopped.
I half expected to see a rainbow, but I never did. All I saw were clear skies and dry roads ahead of me.
Life has been stressful for me lately. There are umpteen reasons for this, but the problem is that I am relying on myself to cope with it all rather than relying on my Lord.
I just know in my heart that God sent me this weird rain shower. I am pretty sure he wanted to remind me to lean on Him rather than myself.
What better way to wake me up then with a weird little shower that seemed to pour out of the sky just for me.
