Hey everyone, and welcome to another exciting episode of Euroz Hartleys Finding the Front.

This episode we have an absolutely stellar opportunity to chat with Mr Bill Beament, the Managing Director of ASX listed base metal developer and specialist underground mining service provider, Develop.

Bill was the former Managing Director and Executive Chair of Northern Star having been with company for some 14 years overseeing a massive expansion from junior to a global scale Australian gold producer with world class projects in highly prospective regions of Australia and America.

This podcast has it all, the highs and the lows, over two full parts A & B - from Bill’s upbringing in country WA, to his days learning the art of underground mining, to joining Northern Star - the phenomenal growth path including the acquisitions, how the purchase of half of the Kalgoorlie Super Pit played out, the merger with Saracen Minerals - and what he is up to now, his views on Develop and his pathway forward.

Bill is a board trustee of prominent WA charity Telethon, a Patron of Western Australia School of Mines Curtin University Alumni, and was named 2016 CEO of the Year by the Australian Financial Review as well as First Amongst Equals at the 2013 Business News Forty under 40 Awards.

This is a cracker without a doubt, we hope you enjoy.
