Most times us Americans don’t realize how great this country really is.

Drago Dzieran really helps us to understand how great this country is through his accounts of growing up in socialist Poland with a father who was a communist leader, but having a loving Catholic mother who raised him better.

His childhood was much different than us craddle americans, he had to fight for food, he smuggled to try and get a better life, then eventually became a political prisoner.

Eventually, he was able to gain asylum in the United states and started a long journey of careers until becoming a US Navy Seal at a late age.

We talk about all of these experiences that is captured in his book “The Pledge to America”

Through all of this Drago also warns us about the impending situation growing in the united States where the uneducated are pushing for socialism. This reminds me of the quote from:

G. Michael hopf that states “Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”

Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve had a long stretch of good times….watch out for what’s next

I hope you really enjoy this interview with Drago as much as I did that originally aired on August 7th 2023. It is appropriately titled “Freedom is a Gift” as some of our parting discussion is around the countless Americans who have defended this country over the decades.
