NurseMendoza is a Critical Care Registered Nurse for UCSD Medical Center & a Scrubs Magazine Representative. He puts his seven years of healthcare experience to work in the ICU, caring for their acuity ill patients, stroke victims, patience with neurological disorders, burn victims & now Cardiovascular ICU. He started his own video educational blog detailing his experiences, providing tips for his fellow nurses, and sharing his passion with the world. His digital Nursing presence catapulted him into the national spotlight, with appearances on the television show, “The Doctors” and features in several national publications with Scrubs magazine, & All hearts digital magazine. He has had the opportunity to present & speak at Chico State University, Samuel Merritt University, Florida International University & Arizona State University. Nurse Mendoza is fluent in both English and Spanish and won't quit until he's completely satisfied with changing the nursing world by educating & sharing his nursing experiences by inspiration & motivation being a voice for all the nurses, Aspiring Nurses, Student Nurses & especially the MEN & minorities entering this nursing medical profession. He firmly believes not only staying proactive for his patients, but most importantly for himself by physically being healthy and incorporating cardio 2-3 times a week staying @cardiacstrong. He stated, "To be a great professional role model for our patients, we must learn to practice what we preach by delivering great care & incorporating a small dose of daily fitness & a large dose of education by being CardiacStrong.
