Buyouts and layoffs have shaken up San Diego newsrooms. Most recently the San Diego Union Tribune was purchased, and nearly 30 reporters and employees have voluntarily chosen to leave the paper with a severance according to reports. Gary Warth, now former Union Tribune Homelessness Reporter, sat down with Flack Talk for an in-depth interview about taking the buyout and his next steps.
