Our communities are going through a VERY difficult time right now. So, I'm going to talk to you a bit about being black, and it's going to be uncomfortable. The fact that the subject of being black is even an uncomfortable topic is the EXACT reason why you need to listen. It's the exact reason why I need to talk. So, yes, this is going to be uncomfortable. And, that is the point. It can no longer be uncomfortable for only US. We need EVERYONE to have this conversation. In this first discussion of what may need to be many, I'll share some of my own experiences, discuss "The Talk," and touch on the police brutality that has spurred the Black Lives Matter movement. And, then, I'll leave you with some homework and advice on how--in particular white people--can help the cause. Listen in...
