George Stanley Walker is an ENT (Ear, Nose Throat) doctor. He shares his journey to becoming a doctor and the surprising care that he and his patience have found work best even during Covid-19 Pandemic. As a part of the Reminiscence Series he gives us a peek into his early days at Morehouse College, Grady Medical Hospital, Temple University and how he landed in New Orleans at Touro Hospital. His stories offer a host of emotions as he reflects on racism, the death of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., his wife and family, being drafted, and many teachers, friends, and colleagues that are etched in his memory.
