Are you falling into the trap of Unconscious Competence? When we become highly proficient in a task, we can assume that it is easy. This is the trap of ‘unconscious competence’ and it can seriously undermine your ability to delegate. To delegate effectively you need to go back a step and help your people to know what they didn't know they need to know. Wise leaders and managers are aware of how to avoid this trap and this short video explains what you need to do to delegate things even more effectively to your people.
