November 9th marks the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. One of the defining moments of the 20th century. On Saturday night, Hertha Berlin and Union Berlin play the first Berlin derby in Bundesliga history.

Today, we speak to freelance journalist Manuel Veth (Forbes, Futbolgrad Network, ProSoccerUSA) to preview the game and chronicle how football has evolved in the German capital since World War II.
