Matt Miazga is an American professional footballer currently playing for FC Cincinnati in the MLS. Over the past 10 years Matt has played with 8 teams in 6 different countries. His journey began with the NY Red Bulls, signed with Chelsea in 2016, and then was loaned out for the next 6 years taking him to Holland, France, England, Belgium, and Spain. After his final loan move in Spain, he made the jump back to the US to sign with FC Cincinnati. Matt’s mentality shines throughout the conversation showing how he was able to adapt and thrive at each of these clubs. We talk about the move to Chelsea, being on loan and what comes with that, USMNT caps, having to perform immediately while still adapting to a new environment, and playing under Vincent Kompany at Anderlecht in Belgium.
