This week’s interview series episode was a reunion for Jimmy Brennan and Craig Forrest, as former Toronto FC goalkeeper Greg Sutton joined his old CanMNT teammates, James Sharman and Brendan Dunlop. They laughed about some of the early days at TFC, described what it was like to play for Mo Johnston, and just how bad it was to play on that OG turf, each and every day. Now the master coach of both the men’s and women’s teams at Concordia University, Sutton tells the crew about the depth of talent playing in Quebec, how the pathway to the CPL has kept players home instead of heading south chasing NCAA opportunities, and what it was like working with Jesse Marsch at the Montreal Impact.
