She also emphasized that the talent in women’s basketball has always been present but now they are being more recognized due to the attention of the media, the group then discussed some other reasons there could have been an influx in recent years. Deanna also gave insights into some of her favorite memories as a college athlete during her time here at ISU. Deanna sees herself eventually giving back to the sport by hoping one day to be a coach at the collegiate level.
