Dear Friends, Family, Revolutionaries, and the Uninitiated,

Please pull out ya smores, popcorn, treats, snacks, and other goodies. We are sitting down to the story of Afrofuturism with the story teller of our modern age, and the caretaker shepherding the arts and knowledge. The conscious effort to further expanding arts, especially Afrocentric art; is paramount to their life story. They bring with them the creativity, artistry, and intimate understanding of what our future holds when the picture staring back include- you.

There is a serious consternation revolving not just the inclusion of melanated individuals. Not in simple "i's, ain't gots no"... but with layers and depth. Afro-futurism is a term that was coined by a british journalist to describe the genre of artistic creation that included a diverse character world filled with melanated individuals, however; when left to definitions given by others the truth is always ignorantly relayed. We give a real understanding of what Afrofuturism is, who is in it, why it matters to have such a thing, and the significance of seeing yourself in the pages, pictures, music, and other arts we enjoy.

Thank you Doc Friyali, for sitting down to a meal, a mind, and bringing some heart; to a story much needed and more importantly shared.

Thank you JD, fellow Afro Nerd, it was a pleasure to shed the coat of imposterism with you.

Isaiah aka 3rdI truly enjoy the Montego cover, blessing the cords and our ears- much obliged.

Madison Gray the art work epitomizes the conversation, and includes a goddess. Much appreciated. instagram.com/maddmallow
