Trusting the Unknown to The All Knowing

Bible Study Verses: Proverbs 3:5-6, Isaiah 12:2, Genesis 26:1-12, Numbers 23:19, Genesis 26: 6,12-14, Daniel 11:32Daniel 11:32

In 1967 when Archibald MacLeish a poet and penned the article “When We Are Gods”, he wrote “…There is, in truth, a terror in the world, and the arts have heard it as they always do. Under the hum of the miraculous machines and the ceaseless publications of the brilliant physicists a silence waits and listens and is heard. It is the silence of apprehension. We do not trust our time, and the reason we do not trust our time is because it is we who have made the time, and we do not trust ourselves. We have played the hero's part, mastered the monsters, accomplished the labors, become gods— and we do not trust ourselves as gods because deep inside we know what we really are. In the old days when the gods were someone else, the knowledge of what we are did not frighten us . . . But now that we are gods ourselves we bear the knowledge for ourselves. Like that old Greek hero who learned when all the labors had been accomplished that it was he himself who had killed his son.”

How can we trust others if we don’t trust ourselves?

What is satiation and what is it’s relationship to trust?

What banishes fear or anxiety in a Christian’s life?

What brings strength to a Christian?

What brings assurance to a Christian?

How can we be certain about what Our Creator has for us in the upcoming year?

Pastor Otuno expounds on this and much more on the exciting journey of Fresh Encounter Radio Podcast originally aired on Jan. 12th, 2019 on WNQM, Nashville Quality Ministries and WWCR World Wide Christian Radio broadcast to all 7-continents on this big beautiful blue marble, earth, floating through space.
