Warp vs Weft: Warp is the long thread that runs from the beginning to the end of the piece. Weft is the 'shuttle' thread that goes from side to side. Prolly just think of a starship going straight forward under warp power rather than bouncing left and right?

Macrame is not, in fact, basket weaving. The art of basket weaving is called "basket weaving" - or, sometimes, "basketry".

Turns out you can use wool for tablet weaving, for me it's always gone sproing, generally at the most difficult point to try and mend. So, you know. Maybe get some practice in first.
