When we left Seattle on July 31, 2018, we were long-term travel neophytes with very little understanding of how this working and traveling lifestyle would impact us. Two years later, we know, and we're going to share the 10 things we've learned about ourselves and how being location-independent wanderers enriches our lives. Here is what we cover in the list:

  1. Flexibility and patience
  2. Don’t need the typical trappings
  3. Can work in just about any setting with Wifi
  4. People are genuinely friendly and like to connect
  5. Food is a great way to immerse culturally
  6. There are good days and bad days
  7. Creating structure helps
  8. Sometimes you need to slow down
  9. Health insurance is critical
  10. Focus beyond tourist attractions
