Self-limiting language leads to self-limiting behavior. As long as you're saying things that support why you can't or shouldn't be doing something, the easier it is to not do it. Episode 31 features the top five excuses we hear from people who say they'd love to be living a work from anywhere lifestyle, but can't:

  • Kids
  • Job doesn’t allow for it
  • Too expensive to live and work abroad
  • Fear of the unknown
  • Family and friends would never support the idea

We prefer to focus on the possibilities vs. expressing why we can't do something. As we shared in earlier episodes, we had our first conversation about a travel lifestyle 25 years ago, and we created remote working opportunities 11 years ago, that helped us manifest our current work from anywhere lifestyle. Less negative, more positive! If you're pondering the idea of traveling and working, feel free to reach out to us on Facebook or Instagram. We're more than happy to help you contemplate if this is a possibility for you, too. We'd love to see you out on the road in the near future!
