Well would you look at that… Its Episode 121! – Gerber, Danko and Chuck are back for another week of talking sports, and more, in the Land. At Home, the Guys talk Guardians recent troubles and whether stats tell us its time to panic or not. The Guys also look at the handful of young pitchers doing their part to win games and struggle to find a Most Valuable Guard for the last week. On the Road (20:05), the Guys talk entertaining NBA playoff series, including the weird back and forth of the Lakers v. Warriors series and the current best player in still alive in the playoffs. The Guys also look at some of the early season surprises in Major League Baseball and play a new game about things that may be stupid around the world of sports. Off the Field (44:54), the Guys turn their focus to the opera with the long anticipated release of the Smashing Pumpkins rock opera Atum. The Guys discuss the legacy of the Smashing Pumpkins, the many (many) songs on Atum and their favorite all time opera singers. Stick around after the closing music (111:09) for the outtakes and hear more Guards thoughts and some disappointment about the lack of more hovercrafts.

Errors: Gerber was wrong twice. The Braves v. Pirates playoff series that ended with Francisco Cabrera’s game winning hit was 1992, not 1995. The Angels won the World Series in 2002 not 2004.
