John Mabry struggled with addiction, depression and PTSD for over a decade following a horrifying car accident that resulted in him losing a leg. Believe it or not, things got worse. He found his brother dead from an overdose in his Beverly Hills home and got fired from a high-profile job by personal finance guru Dave Ramsey. (He persevered, but you'll have to listen to the episode to find out how and why.) Mabry isn't just an addiction recovery activist -- he's also an award-winning speaker, inventor, actor and stuntman. He's appeared on "NCIS," "ER," and in the movie "Superbad," among many others. He's been featured in People, USA Today and Access Hollywood, too. In short, he has one hell of a story. Visit mabryliving.com for more information about John, his family and his passion for recovery. (Intro Song: "In the End" by Linkin Park)
