Lance Sanders from Mammal Virus joined us to talk about the new EP dropping this week from Dreamy Life Records and Tapes. We start of the show with the opening track War Machine/Killer. We get into some heavy duty topics right off the bat including but not limited to mass extintion. We get to know Lance a little in this episode and what a interesting and thoughtful dude. I was really drawn to the music this band creates. Recorded by Robby Rux at Cloudland, the EP has great space between insturments and his voice really adds a nice moody layer. In the middle we play a really great track called Crook where you will groove on the bass line and hold up a lighter during the guitar solos. Its a rocking track while still carrying a jangle much like the Old 97s getting a little grungy. We have Zach Libs and its a doozy. We also talk about Preachers and money, Bass fishing and Ween on Halloween. I am super glad Lance was able to come by and hang out with us. Zachary Zanetich and Joe Tacke were both present as we recorded in One Horn Studios but no Susie Ramone. She was missed (Especially by Lance) We close out the show with my favorite track called Cage. Its a little heavy and dark and its greatness. Check out the EP this friday Nov 10th at Dreamy Life around 6pm. You can find all the info on Facebook. #suckitstubbs #keeplistening #neverstop
