With their 2023 free agent comp pick from giving the qualifying offer to Chris Bassit, the Mets selected Pitcher Austin Troesser from Mizzou, University of Missouri. Austin tells Vito and Jon and his growth spurt from High School to college where he took his fastball from 90 to 98 mph, and how he's been adjusting to pro ball life. At the time of this recording, Austin had been spending his time down in PSL playing some complex league ball with other Mets 2023 draftees.
