In mid-December, Champions Golf Club in Houston played host to the U.S. Women's Open. The event was originally scheduled to be played in June, but was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic, making this the latest women's major in history. In this episode of the GCSAA Podcast, we talk with Chris Ortmeier, the director of agronomy at Champions GC, on what went into preparing for this very unusual event, and more importantly, how he and his team were managing the often-overlooked workload that comes with cleaning up after a major championship.
