JPMorgan Chase ได้ทำการฟ้องร้องผู้ก่อตั้ง Frank วัย 30 ปี บริษัทสตาร์ทอัพด้านฟินเทคชื่อดังที่บริษัทซื้อมาในราคา 175 ล้านดอลลาร์ โดยกล่าวหาว่าโกหกเรื่องจำนวนผู้ใช้งานการสร้างรายชื่อผู้ใช้ปลอมจำนวนมหาศาลเพื่อล่อลวงยักษ์ใหญ่ทางการเงินให้ซื้อมัน

Frank ก่อตั้งโดยอดีต CEO Charlie Javice ในปี 2016 โดยนำเสนอซอฟต์แวร์ที่มุ่งปรับปรุงกระบวนการสมัครสินเชื่อนักเรียนสำหรับคนหนุ่มสาวชาวอเมริกันที่ต้องการความช่วยเหลือทางการเงิน เป้าหมายสูงสุดของเธอคือการสร้าง “Amazon for higher education”
