Over the last few years, bemyfriends co-CEO Steve Seo has established himself as one of the leading authorities in the global fandom business.
A serial entrepreneur, Seo joined bemyfriends in January of 2022 after serving as the CEO of beNX (now known as Weverse Company) and as a technical advisor for HYBE Corporation. It was in those roles that Seo oversaw the launches of Weverse, the official fan community of K-pop supergroup BTS, and its e-commerce platform, Weverse Shop. The platform that Seo developed led to cross-border e-commerce in 220 countries.
After contributing greatly to the globalization of the music fan economy, Seo is ready to help creators around the world strengthen their fanbase and earn more from their content. Drawing from his extensive expertise, Seo will help bemyfriends lead the global creator economy by shaping its business strategy and overseeing the global expansion of its new bespoke platform builder, b.stage.
