Every year in England and wales 1.4 million people attend A+E with a head injury, this makes up just over 6.5% of the presentations that Emergency departments see with 20% of them being admitted. Prehospital clinicians can have a difficult time assessing these patients often without the luxuries that come with seeing these patients in hospital.
