On this episode, we talk with Emily Hoisington, the Executive Director and original founder of Charleston Hope, a grassroots non-profit serving the needs of Title 1 schools. She is originally from Goose Creek, SC, and is a recent graduate of the College of Charleston, majoring in early childhood development. She started her non-profit just 5 years ago at 18 years of age, and continued growing and leading the organization through college, now working at it full time. On this episode, she talks about the challenges early on, and shares success tips and principles that she emphasizes to develop a healthy, growing culture and expand the reach of her organization.
