This week brings a special episode where Mike speaks with Leyna; she is one of several alters in the Doug Vincent System, to explain the condition of Dissociative Identity Disorder (trigger warning: suicidal thoughts & self-harm are briefly discussed in this conversation).

In more detail, Leyna first explains why she & the Doug Vincent System have gone public to talk about their condition and their connection to the Marvel comic character Moon Knight. Leyna & Mike became connected after she contributed to the “Waxing And Waning” Moon Knight essay collection; edited by Scott Weatherly and Mike & Scott then discussed Moon Knight’s many comics and the essays in episode 224 of GCC (Feb 2024)!

The previous release was another episode of Mike & Megan’s monthly discussions show, with their thoughts on pantomimes. Pantomimes are a traditional British comedy/musical/theatrical performance with several unusual elements to them (which you’ll have to listen to hear about) and Megan also performed in a pantomime in early 2024, so she talks about her first on-stage experience too!
