While I "started" my career at 16, I was reluctant to follow the path that, in retrospect, was unavoidable. I chased other passions, but it always led me back to Real Estate. A career in real estate has been such a huge gift to me. It has allowed me to grow, expand, get uncomfortable, and create generational wealth for myself.
I believe anyone can create wealth in real estate regardless of their income level. Home ownership and investment properties are a game changer for an entire family. There is no get rich quick scheme here. It is smart, responsible investing that multiplies over time. And, sometimes, if you have the stomach for it, taking some big risks! I was also a reluctant leader, pushed into leadership roles. Today I could not be more grateful for that push. Helping agents build successful businesses has been a huge joy in my life. As well as learning to coach and mentor the whole person.
Wealth and success have so many definitions and those definitions should ebb and flow and evolve as you grow and change as a person. I know I have also evolved as a leader. Learning to step into my own power, my own truth, and more recently my own femininity. My mentors and leaders had always been men, really wonderful men. But I found myself mimicking them and being who I thought I "should be" playing this masculine role. Once I got comfortable enough to try things in a way that felt authentic and true to me, it created a ripple effect of blossoming all around me. I then realized my gift as a leader is to create space for others to be who they authentically are.
When I am not working you will find me traveling and exploring the world, practicing mediation, at a concert, at the gym, or a game night with friends.
