Getting Noticed: Resume and Cover Letter Tips Jennifer and Brandon discussed the importance of having a great resume and cover letter. They were joined by entertainment industry leader Chris Surette who has worked on projects ranging from The Grammys to Star Trek: Picard. He shared tips and pointers on the importance of writing a resume letter that conveys passion and expertise. This week they asked their audience to create a template resume that they can tailor based on whichever job they apply to specific needs. They asked their audience to look at various job descriptions online to see what kind of words and descriptions are being used for the jobs they want. Finally, Jennifer suggested applying to ten jobs, and if you get 3 responses for an interview to leave it alone but if you get 1 or none be sure to continue to tweak it and perhaps work with a professional resume writer.
