Our special guest 36 Year Veteran of the Baltimore City F.D. Lt. Stephen Cobo. First, His grandfather was a Battalion Chief in BCFD retiring in the 1970s and father was a Firefighter BCFD retiring in 1990. He was appointed in 1987 and assigned to Truck 29. Promoted to Driver in 1990 and went to Truck 16. Transferred to Rescue 1 and then to Truck 4 before getting promoted to Lt in 2000. He was assigned to Truck 1 for 7 years before going back to Truck 29 where it all started. He finished his career in Truck 26 in 2023. He was at the Clippermill fire that claimed the life of FF Eric Schaffer in 1995. He was part of the Discovery documentary "Streets of Fire" in 1997 and training crew for "Ladder 49" in 2004. He was part of many memorable fires including several where he became trapped. We will get the whole skinny. .. You don’t want to miss this one.
